These are ballpark ranges from common Middle Tennessee projects—not a quote. Yard size, access, soil, drainage conditions, hauling, materials, and final scope can move the price.
Basic drainage
Usually one problem area: one or two downspout extensions, a small French drain or area drain, a short swale, or minor spot grading.
Typical yard drainage
Often includes multiple downspouts, a 50–200 ft French drain, drainage boxes, yard regrading, a longer swale, or a small culvert.
Complex / property-scale drainage
Driveway culverts, headwalls, long runs, multiple systems, major grading, difficult access, or large residential and community drainage work.
Basic grading & clearing
Spot grading, a small-yard regrade, one or two loads of topsoil, seed and straw, bush hogging, or a small pad—usually with material left on site.
